My husband found your great website upon googling assault with a deadly fragrance and when he read some of the content to me, he got my attention! Today was a horror! As much as we hate grocery shopping, we had to go and the fragrance assault was extremely horrifying! We couldn’t wait to return home and catch our breath! I also get migraines from perfumes. I just started a blog on how the perfuming of America is making some of us sick. I hope that we can spread the word and help convince others to embrace fragrance free living.

I also suffer from this same thing, but only at work. I have severe reactions to perfumes in the work place. I have requested from management a fragrance-free environment and nothing has been done. I met with the personel department last week and they seem to want to put it off as “my issue” and that there must be something else causing it. Thank you for posting this information. I am preparing literature and am ready to call OSHA and the labor board in order to get this done. My health is more important than this job any day. I should not have to put medications in my body that damage my liver and lungs because someone else wants to smell “good”.

I’ve suffered from MCS since 2001. I guess we all sympathize with each other on how hard it is to live with. The hardest part is having contact with other people and places. It’s very frustrating because you don’t want to be mean–but their perfume is harmful and makes me sick.

I just found your site. MCS is a wide ranging problem. My wife has been suffering from it for the past couple of years. We’ve had to change our lifestyle, places of work, everything to try and deal with her illness. People are shccked when I tell them about it. All the education we can put there the better. Thanks

The must be nation a wide problesm with fragances because I to am having these same problems at work. I have asthma but the fragances make it worst. The flower base in all colognes, gels, perfumes are very harmful to our health. I would like to get in touch with Susan McBride to know how and what she did to weather her storm with fragances. Most people are only for themselves and caring about others
