Texas Wildflower And Bug

Last Sunday, DH and I went on a Wine and Wildflower Hunt in the Texas Hill Country. We were successful in both areas. I’ve lived much of my life in South Texas, but this particular flower had never really caught my eye until then. Perhaps because it was always the brightly colored ones that caught my eye. This one was not very colorful by comparison but it still caught my eye. In the puzzle, only one bloom is open, but I have others shots where many are open. Perhaps a future puzzle?

And a bonus - A genuine Texas insect happened to be crawling on this flower.

Enjoy!
